I am curious about how people, me included, digest information. We all take in and process information differently, whether it is through visual, tactile, or auditory means. We are all the collective sum of our experiences; some pass that knowledge to their children, while others preserve it on the pages of books. Our ability to access knowledge has never been greater, yet with the advent of AI, we are self-crippling our efforts, thanks to the lack of critical thinking. That curiosity has led my art practice to focus on experimentation with new materials and a return to earlier art processes. The paintings I’m working on come from a place of cynical humor at the future and past as I juxtapose them.
